Lil Richye was  born February 3rd.  Richye is the 3rd eldest of his siblings.He has two older sisters (Lize’ and Lexia) and two younger brothers (Keyshawn and Rickye). Richye is mainly inspired by KRS1, L.L. Cool J, Run DMC, Migos and Future and the producer Zaytoven. Even as a  baby music has always played a major role in his life as a outlet of self expression. Before being home schooled Lil Richye was  an honor student who attends Northwest School of the Arts majoring in musical theatre. He also serves as a junior usher in church, a member of the church junior choir ensemble, and praise team. Lil Richye was 1/3 member of the trio group PB3 with his two younger brothers King K and Tricky Rickye before becoming a solo act. In the summer of 2016 Lil Richye came in second place in the Coast 2 Coast Atlanta edition being the only youth in the competition out of twenty six acts. Also in the summer of 2016 Lil Richye modeled in the Charlotte Fashion Week in downtown Charlotte. Lil Richye won the best youth hip hop artist of the year award  in 2016,2017 and 2018 at the Queen City Awards in Charlotte, N.C.  In January 2019 Lil Richye starred in Lifetime’s hit show ‘The Rap Game’ hosted by Jermaine Dupri and currently working with his mentor super producer Zaytoven on a new project.Adding the name author to his resume now, Lil Richye has written two books, one children’s book called ‘Big brother Big shoes’  and a motivational book called ‘The no that meant go, GO HARDER’.  Lil Richye not only aspires to be a great hip hop artist but to add acting to his resume as well. Lil Richye says he wants to be known for his positive lyrics and loving spirit.
